WELCOME TO RHEUM FOR MORE
I’M SO GLAD YOU’RE HERE
Whether you just need to know you are not alone and that those weird symptoms your doctor never warned you about are not in your head, or you are recently diagnosed and have no idea what to do next.
— you’re in the right place.
Since you’re here right now, something tells me that you’re full of determination, have a positive mindset, and a desire to feel better.
- You have no idea where to start on your journey to wellness.
- You need help understanding autoimmunity and how to manage it.
- You feel a little isolated. You wish more people could relate to what you’re going through.
No matter where you are in your wellness journey you want to feel your best.
- You want to make your “new normal” as close to your old one as possible.
- You’re READY to do what it takes to feel better and get back to doing more of what you love.
- But you just don’t know how to make that a reality.
How do I Know? Because I have been there.
Hey, there! My name is Asa Suriano.
I have spent the past four years figuring out how to live well with rheumatoid arthritis and want to pass on what I have learned, what I am currently researching, and what is working for me now as a way to help others navigate their own “new normal” post diagnosis.
My mission is to help those with chronic illness take back their health and rediscover joy.
You can learn more about me here.
My ultimate goal with Rheum For More is to create a positive, supportive community of like-minded individuals looking to live well with autoimmunity.
I’d love for you to be part of this and experience the benefits.
You don’t have to do it alone.
On the blog, you can expect to find informative posts about autoimmune wellness, specifically symptom management, diet, fitness, and anti-inflammatory recipes.
*About the recipe section: I have discovered that I have gluten, nightshade, sugar, and dairy sensitivities. My daughter has an anaphylactic peanut allergy and gluten sensitivity. I follow a specific Paleo type diet that does not allow for many baked goods, but since so many individuals experience tremendous improvement from the removal of gluten and dairy from their diets, I have included a gluten-free baking section to include recipes I make for my daughter. She is not dairy free, but I try to make these recipes dairy free or at least offer up dairy free substitutions when possible. I hope you will enjoy trying these recipes, as they are all family favorites.
